Hedgehog’s Journey

It was winter. I can’t remember the exact year but it was winter and I was lying awake in bed. Everytime I closed my eyes I saw a beautiful landscape with white fields and white woods glittering in the sun. Nothing unusual for this time of the year if there wasn’t a little hedgehog that hadn’t been asleep. He had decided to stay awake to experience winter. The little hedgehog couldn’t accept that just because of Mother Nature he had to sleep through winter. He wanted to know how winter looks like, feels like, smells like, sounds like and tastes like. Little hedgehog knew if he didn’t like it, he could always sleep again the next year. But at least he can say ‘I have tried!’

Hedghog’s Journey is the story of a little hedgehog that has the courage to explore and experience something new and unusual.
But surprise! We are little hedghehogs ourselves! We also have the possibility to look at us and our surroundings in different ways every day. We have the choice whether we want to see new things, to choose new ways or to live our life without questioning. Live life to the full!
